Who we are

Our website address is: https://jet-buyer.com.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

The data we collect from users and site visitors includes (and is not limited to) data such as your email address as well as technical data, such as information collated by cookies, information collected in contact forms or downloads. This includes the pages you view, and any links you click on within our domain and emails.

Jet-Buyer.com does not collect nor retain any sensitive personal data, such as name, gender, race, ethnicity or age.

We need certain information to provide our products and services – such as an email address to receive a PDF downloads. Most of this information is readily available from your business card.

When you access our online products we may collect information such as: the type of browser or email product you are using; the device you are reading it on; the pages you have viewed on our website; your IP address and location. However, this information is often anonymous – so we may know which company is accessing a story but not who is reading it. We can also see which links you have clicked on our domain.

We primarily use your information for the purpose of helping you find aircraft that are tailored to your preferences. This includes marketing and advertising campaigns, providing you have given consent.

By entering your email address you agree to be added to mailing lists for marketing purposes, such as Jet Alerts. We strive to only provide you with content you want to see – not spam – and we will do our best to ensure you are only sent relevant content based on the data collected.

Contact forms

We use cookies in order to ensure proper functionality of contact forms. We may collect any data that is provided in the contact forms for categorisation and analysis.

How we store your data

We store your information securely and hold it for as long as we need to in order provide our services and products to you in accordance with the law.

If you have not interacted with us in any way, we will generally no longer hold your information after 5 years. If it involves payments we may hold it for more than seven years – or longer for tax and legal reasons.

If you ask us to no longer contact you, for example if you do not wish to receive marketing emails, we will retain the minimum amount of information about you so that we can ensure we remove you from any future communications. We can, if you ask, completely remove all information about you, but we will no longer be able to recognise your previous request to not be contacted.

We do not intentionally, or knowingly, process personal information from individuals under the age of 16.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account or have used this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

We work with third-party partners who help us provide and improve our Products or who use Facebook Business Tools to grow their businesses.

Partners who use our analytics services:
We provide aggregated statistics and insights that help people and businesses understand how people are engaging with their listings  on and off Jet-Buyer products. For example, brokers may receive information about the number of people who viewed, reacted to or commented on their posts, as well as aggregate demographic and other information that helps them understand interactions with their Page or account.
Advertisers:
We provide advertisers with reports about the kinds of people seeing their ads and how their ads are performing, but we don’t share information that personally identifies you (information such as your name or email address) unless you give us permission. We also confirm which adverts led you to make a purchase or take an action with an advertiser.

Our websites, emails or products may, and often do, contain links to external sites. We cannot be responsible for their privacy practices, so we suggest you read their privacy policies.
